Owen Hortner
[/b][/i][/color]Nicknames: Mr HortnerSex: Male
Age: 26
Status: (Commoner or servant) Owen is a trader who travels from town to town carrying goods and the occasional traveler.
Appearance: (if w/o picture, at least two paragraphs) Owen Hortner is a fair skinned, stocky lad, with broad shoulders. He has unkempt dark hair which he tries to keep at about shoulder length, he has light blue eyes, and a just so ever slightly hooked nose. He has a very full face, with a slight double chin. He has a strong upper body, developed from years of stacking crates and the like. and solid lower half, but is not very sure-footed, and can be quite clumsy at the worst of times.
Personality: (At least five sentences) Owen has a generally calm demeanor and rarely loses his temper. And when he does, it is often at his own shortcomings. He is somewhat shy around women, but quite open and playful in the company of men. He enjoys the feeling of satisfaction you get from a hard days work. And finds solace in helping others, he is never to busy to lend a hand to those in need.
Likes/Dislikes:(10 of each) He likes his job, the countryside and the sea. And his pet dog he purchased whilst trading outside of england, Pugsly. He cant put up with useless people, and has an affinity of dislike for royalty who act holier than thou, and have no respect for their common man.
Past: (two para's) Owen has always had a fascination with traveling, ever since he was a small boy, so as he grew older, he sought out ways to incorporate that into his lifestyle, he tried his hand at being a guard for traveling traders. His job eventually landed him with a trader by the name of Quinton, they grew close and traded various stories of travel (Quinton's being exponentially more interesting) and when they parted, Owen was certain that he wanted to be a trader, it was somewhat safer, and if he did it right, he could become quite wealthy. He had a moderate amount of money saved from his employ as a guard, and bought a small vessel, just sufficient enough to travel the sea's, hired a tiny crew and set out to find fortune. But life, it seems had different plans, for he soon found himself out of pocket and out of luck, and had to loan funds from a very unsavory group of men. And when he couldn't pay up in a timely fashion, they set out looking to kill him. When Owen caught wind of what they were planning he dubbed it prudent to get as far away from them as he could. So he ended up in England, carrying travelers and cargo from town to town, making a very modest living, when one day, he came into a small village with a beauty the likes of which he had never before seen, He instantly fell in love with this place, and realized this is where he wanted to live out the rest of his days...
